Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 19232
Jarir, may Allah be pleased with him, narrated that a senior Christian priest from Yemen told me that if your companion (Prophet Muhammad) was truly a Prophet, then he would pass away today. And so, the Holy Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, departed from this world on that very day, which was a Monday.

حضرت جریر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ مجھ سے یمن کے ایک بڑے عیسائی پادری نے کہا کہ اگر تمہارے ساتھی واقعی پیغمبر ہیں تو وہ آج کے دن فوت ہوں گے چناچہ نبی کریم ﷺ اسی دن " جو پیر کا دن تھا " دنیا سے رخصت ہوگئے۔
Hazrat Jirir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki mujh se Yemen ke aik bare Isaai padre ne kaha ki agar tumhare saathi waqai paighambar hain to woh aaj ke din faut honge chunancha Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) isi din "jo peer ka din tha" duniya se rukhsat hogaye.
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سَعِيدٍ مَوْلَى بَنِي هَاشِمٍ، حَدَّثَنَا زَائِدَةُ ، حَدَّثَنَا زِيَادُ بْنُ عِلَاقَةَ ، عَنْ جَرِيرٍ ، قَالَ: قَالَ لِي حَبْرٌ بِالْيَمَنِ: " إِنْ كَانَ صَاحِبُكُمْ نَبِيًّا فَقَدْ مَاتَ الْيَوْمَ" . قَالَ جَرِيرٌ: فَمَاتَ يَوْمَ الِاثْنَيْنِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ.
