Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 19302
Abu al-Tafīl (may Allah have mercy on him) narrates that once, Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) gathered the people in the courtyard of Kufa and said, "Whoever among the Muslims heard the Prophet's (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) sermon on the occasion of Ghadir-e-Khum, I ask him, swearing by Allah, to stand up in his place." So, thirty people stood up. They (bore witness) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) held Ali's (may Allah be pleased with him) hand and said, "Don't you know that I have more right over the Muslims than their own lives?" The companions (may Allah be pleased with them) said, "Why not?" Then the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) pressed Ali's (may Allah be pleased with him) hand and said, "Whoever considers me his beloved, should also consider Ali his beloved. O Allah, O Allah! Love the one who loves Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) and be hostile to the one who is hostile to him." (Abu al-Tafīl continues,) “I left from there, and there were some doubts in my heart about this. So I met Zaid bin Arqam (may Allah be pleased with him) and said, 'I heard Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) saying this and this.' He said, 'Why are you surprised at this? I myself heard the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saying this.”

ابوالطفیل رحمہ اللہ کہتے ہیں کہ ایک مرتبہ حضرت علی رضی اللہ عنہ نے صحن کوفہ میں لوگوں کو جمع کیا اور فرمایا جس مسلمان نے غدیرخم کے موقع پر نبی کریم ﷺ کا ارشاد سناہو میں اسے قسم دے کر کہتاہوں کہ اپنی جگہ پر کھڑا ہوجائے چناچہ تیس آدمی کھڑے ہوگئے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے حضرت علی رضی اللہ عنہ کا ہاتھ پکڑ کر فرمایا کیا تم لوگ نہیں جانتے کہ مجھے مسلمانوں پر ان کی اپنی جانوں سے بھی زیادہ حق حاصل ہے؟ صحابہ رضی اللہ عنہ نے عرض کیا کیوں نہیں پھر نبی کریم ﷺ نے حضرت علی رضی اللہ عنہ کا ہاتھ دبا کر فرمایا جس کا میں محبوب ہوں علی بھی اس کے محبوب ہونے چاہئیں اے اللہ، اے اللہ! جو علی رضی اللہ عنہ سے محبت کرتا ہے تو اس سے محبت فرما اور جو اس سے دشمنی کرتا ہے تو اس سے دشمنی فرما میں وہاں سے نکلا تو میرے دل میں اس کے متعلق کچھ شکوک و شبہات تھے چناچہ میں حضرت زید بن ارقم رضی اللہ عنہ سے ملا اور عرض کیا کہ میں نے حضرت علی رضی اللہ عنہ کو اس اس طرح کہتے ہوئے سنا ہے انہوں نے فرمایا تمہیں اس پر تعجب کیوں ہورہا ہے؟ میں نے خود نبی کریم ﷺ کو یہ فرماتے ہوئے سنا ہے۔
Abu altufail rehmatullah alaih kehte hain ki aik martaba Hazrat Ali radi allaho anho ne sahan kufa mein logon ko jama kiya aur farmaya jis musalman ne ghadeer e khum ke mauqe par Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ka irshad suna ho mein use qasam de kar kehta hun ki apni jaga par khara ho jae chunacha tees aadmi kharay hogae ki Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne Hazrat Ali radi allaho anho ka hath pakar kar farmaya kya tum log nahin jante ki mujhe musalmanon par unki apni jaano se bhi zyada haq hasil hai? Sahaba radi allaho anho ne arz kiya kyun nahin phir Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne Hazrat Ali radi allaho anho ka hath daba kar farmaya jis ka mein mehboob hun Ali bhi us ke mehboob hone chahiyen aye Allah, aye Allah! Jo Ali radi allaho anho se mohabbat karta hai to us se mohabbat farma aur jo us se dushmani karta hai to us se dushmani farma mein wahan se nikla to mere dil mein us ke mutalliq kuch shukuk o shabahat thay chunacha mein Hazrat Zaid bin arqam radi allaho anho se mila aur arz kiya ki maine Hazrat Ali radi allaho anho ko is is tarah kehte hue suna hai unhon ne farmaya tumhein is par ta'ajjub kyun horaha hai? Maine khud Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko ye farmate hue suna hai.
حَدَّثَنَا حُسَيْنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ، وَأَبُو نُعَيْمٍ ، المعنى، قَالَا: حَدَّثَنَا فِطْرٌ ، عَنْ أَبِي الطُّفَيْلِ ، قَالَ: جَمَعَ عَلِيٌّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ النَّاسَ فِي الرَّحَبَةِ، ثُمَّ قَالَ لَهُمْ: أَنْشُدُ اللَّهَ كُلَّ امْرِئٍ مُسْلِمٍ سَمِعَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَوْمَ غَدِيرِ خُمٍّ مَا سَمِعَ، لَمَّا قَامَ، فَقَامَ ثَلَاثُونَ مِنَ النَّاسِ، وَقَالَ أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ: فَقَامَ نَاسٌ كَثِيرٌ، فَشَهِدُوا حِينَ أَخَذَهُ بِيَدِهِ، فَقَالَ لِلنَّاسِ: أَتَعْلَمُونَ أَنِّي أَوْلَى بِالْمُؤْمِنِينَ مِنْ أَنْفُسِهِمْ؟ قَالُوا: نَعَمْ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ، قَالَ:" مَنْ كُنْتُ مَوْلَاهُ، فَهَذَا مَوْلَاهُ، اللَّهُمَّ وَالِ مَنْ وَالَاهُ، وَعَادِ مَنْ عَادَاهُ"، قَالَ: فَخَرَجْتُ وَكَأَنَّ فِي نَفْسِي شَيْئًا، فَلَقِيتُ زَيْدَ بْنَ أَرْقَمَ، فَقُلْتُ لَهُ: إِنِّي سَمِعْتُ عَلِيًّا رَضِيَ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى عَنْهُ يَقُولُ كَذَا وَكَذَا، قَالَ: فَمَا تُنْكِرُ؟ قَدْ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ ذَلِكَ لَهُ .
