Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 19528
It is narrated by Abu Musa (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, “My Ummah will perish due to “taan” and “ta’un”. Someone asked, “O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him)! We have understood the meaning of ‘taan’ (being struck with spears), but what is meant by ‘ta’un’?” The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) replied, “The arrows of your enemy Jinn, and martyrdom is in both.”
حضرت ابوموسیٰ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا میری امت " طعن اور طاعون " سے فناء ہوگی کسی نے پوچھا یا رسول اللہ ﷺ ! طعن کا معنی تو ہم نے سمجھ لیا (کہ نیزوں سے مارنا) طاعون سے کیا مراد ہے؟ نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا تمہارے دشمن جنات کے کچوکے اور دونوں صورتوں میں شہادت ہے۔
Hazrat Abu Musa (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya meri ummat "tan aur taun" se fana hogi kisi ne poocha ya Rasulullah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)! tan ka mani to humne samajh liya (ke nezon se marna) taun se kya murad hai? Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya tumhare dushman jinnat ke kachoke aur donon suratoun mein shahadat hai.
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ زِيَادِ بْنِ عِلَاقَةَ ، عَنْ رَجُلٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي مُوسَى ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " فَنَاءُ أُمَّتِي بِالطَّعْنِ وَالطَّاعُونِ"، فَقِيلَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ، هَذَا الطَّعْنُ قَدْ عَرَفْنَاهُ، فَمَا الطَّاعُونُ؟ قَالَ:" وَخْزُ أَعْدَائِكُمْ مِنَ الْجِنِّ، وَفِي كُلٍّ شُهَدَاءُ" .
