The Musnad of Abdullah ibn al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib (may Allah be pleased with them both)

Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 1971
It was narrated from Ibn ‘Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “If I live to see next year, I will fast on the ninth of Muharram along with the tenth.”
Grade: Sahih
سیدنا ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا: ”اگر میں آئندہ سال تک زندہ رہا تو دسویں محرم کے ساتھ نویں محرم کا روزہ بھی رکھوں گا۔“
Sayyidna Ibn Abbas ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Rasul Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya: ”Agar main aanda saal tak zinda raha to daswen Muharram ke sath nawen Muharram ka roza bhi rakhunga۔“
حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ ، عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ مَوْلَى ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:" لَئِنْ بَقِيتُ إِلَى قَابِلٍ لَأَصُومَنَّ الْيَوْمَ التَّاسِعَ".
