The Musnad of Abdullah ibn al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib (may Allah be pleased with them both)

Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 1975
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Ibn 'Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) prayed eight rak'ahs with four prostrations in the prayer he offered at the time of the solar eclipse.

سیدنا ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے سورج گرہن کے وقت جو نماز پڑھائی اس میں آٹھ رکوع اور چار سجدے کئے۔
Sayyidna Ibn Abbas ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne sooraj grahan ke waqt jo namaz parhayi usme aath rakat aur chaar sajday kiye.
حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ ، أَخْبَرَنَا سُفْيَانُ الثَّوْرِيُّ ، عَنْ حَبِيبِ بْنِ أَبِي ثَابِتٍ ، عَنْ طَاوُسٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ" صَلَّى عِنْدَ كُسُوفِ الشَّمْسِ ثَمَانِيَ رَكَعَاتٍ وَأَرْبَعَ سَجَدَاتٍ".
