The Musnad of Abdullah ibn al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib (may Allah be pleased with them both)

Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 2013
Narrated by Ibn 'Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him), the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "I have been helped by the Saba wind (the wind that blows from the direction of the Ka'bah), and the people of 'Ad were destroyed by a wind that blew from the west."

سیدنا ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا: ”باد صبا (وہ ہوا جو باب کعبہ کی طرف سے آتی ہے) کے ذریعے میری مدد کی گئی ہے اور قوم عاد کو پچھم سے چلنے والی ہوا سے تباہ کیا گیا تھا۔“
Sayyidna Ibn Abbas ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Rasul Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya: "Baad Saba (woh hawa jo baab Kaaba ki taraf se aati hai) ke zariye meri madad ki gayi hai aur qaum Aad ko pachhim se chalne wali hawa se tabah kiya gaya tha."
حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ ، حَدَّثَنِي الْحَكَمُ ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ:" نُصِرْتُ بِالصَّبَا وَأُهْلِكَتْ عَادٌ بِالدَّبُورِ".
