Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 20611
It is narrated on the authority of Qais bin Asim that when he accepted Islam, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) ordered him to take a bath with water and berry leaves.

حضرت قیس بن عاصم سے مروی ہے کہ انہوں نے اسلام قبول کیا تو نبی ﷺ نے انہیں حکم دیا کہ وہ پانی اور بیری سے غسل کرکے آئیں۔
Hazrat Qais bin Asim se marvi hai keh unhon ne Islam qubool kiya to Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne unhen hukum diya keh woh pani aur beri se gusl kar ke aaein.
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنِ الْأَغَرِّ ، عَنْ خَلِيفَةَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ قَيْسِ بْنِ عَاصِمٍ ، أَنَّهُ أَسْلَمَ، فَأَمَرَهُ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ" أَنْ يَغْتَسِلَ بِمَاءٍ وَسِدْرٍ" .
