The Musnad of Abdullah ibn al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib (may Allah be pleased with them both)

Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 2082
Narrated by Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) sent some young boys of Banu Abdul Muttalib ahead of us from Muzdalifah, riding on our donkeys. And he (the Prophet) patted our legs and said, "My dear children! Do not stone the Jamaratul Aqabah before sunrise." Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) said, "Now I don't think any wise person would stone (the Jamaratul Aqabah) before sunrise."

سیدنا ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے ہم بنو عبدالمطلب کے کچھ نوعمر لڑکوں کو مزدلفہ سے ہمارے اپنے گدھوں پر سوار کر کے پہلے ہی بھیج دیا تھا اور ہماری ٹانگوں پر ہاتھ مارتے ہوئے فرمایا تھا: ”پیارے بچو! طلوع آفتاب سے پہلے جمرہ عقبہ کی رمی نہ کرنا“، سیدنا ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما فرماتے ہیں کہ اب میرا خیال نہیں ہے کہ کوئی عقلمند طلوع آفتاب سے پہلے رمی کرے گا۔
Sayyidna Ibn Abbas ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne hum banu Abd al-Muttalib ke kuchh naujawan ladkon ko Muzdalifah se hamare apne gadhon par sawar kar ke pahle hi bhej diya tha aur hamari tango par hath marte hue farmaya tha: "Pyare bachcho! طلوع آفتاب se pahle Jamarat al-Aqabah ki rami na karna", Sayyidna Ibn Abbas ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a farmate hain ki ab mera khayal nahin hai ki koi aqlmand طلوع آفتاب se pahle rami karega.
حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ وَمِسْعَرٌ , عَنْ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ كُهَيْلٍ ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ الْعُرَنِيِّ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، قَالَ: قَدَّمَنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أُغَيْلِمَةَ بَنِي عَبْدِ الْمُطَّلِبِ عَلَى حُمُرَاتٍ لَنَا مِنْ جَمْعٍ، قَالَ سُفْيَانُ: بِلَيْلٍ فَجَعَلَ يَلْطَحُ أَفْخَاذَنَا، وَيَقُولُ:" أُبَيْنِيَّ لَا تَرْمُوا الْجَمْرَةَ حَتَّى تَطْلُعَ الشَّمْسُ"، وَزَادَ سُفْيَانُ، قَالَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ: مَا إِخَالُ أَحَدًا يَعْقِلُ يَرْمِي حَتَّى تَطْلُعَ الشَّمْسُ.
