The Hadith of Jabir ibn Samurah (may Allah be pleased with him)

حَدِيثُ جَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ

Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 20822

I heard the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, saying that Allah has named Madinah "Taybah."

Grade: Sahih

میں نے نبی ﷺ کو یہ فرماتے ہوئے سنا ہے کہ مدینہ منورہ کا نام اللہ نے طیبہ رکھا ہے۔

main ne nabi sali allah alaih wasallam ko ye farmate huye suna hai ke madina munawwara ka naam allah ne tayyiba rakha hai

قَالَ: وَسَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ:" إِنَّ اللَّهَ وَتَعَالَى سَمَّى الْمَدِينَةَ طَيْبَةَ" .
