ومن مسند بني هاشم
The Musnad of Abdullah ibn al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib (may Allah be pleased with them both)

Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 2085
We do not know whether or not the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, used to recite (Quran) in Zuhr and Asr prayers, (because we were children and could not stand in the front rows). However, we ourselves recite (in these prayers).

سیدنا ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما فرماتے ہیں کہ ہمیں یہ تو معلوم نہیں کہ نبی ﷺ ظہر اور عصر میں قراءت کرتے تھے یا نہیں؟ (کیونکہ ہم تو بچے تھے اور پہلی صفوں میں کھڑے نہیں ہو سکتے تھے) البتہ ہم خود قراءت کرتے ہیں۔
Sayyidna Ibn Abbas ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a farmate hain ki hamen ye to maloom nahin ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) Zuhr aur Asr mein qirat karte the ya nahin (kyunki hum to bache the aur pehli saffon mein kharay nahin ho sakte the) albatta hum khud qirat karte hain.
(حديث موقوف) حَدَّثَنَا حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ ، عَنْ سَلَمَةَ ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ يَعْنِي الْعُرَنِيَّ ، قَالَ: قَالَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ :" مَا نَدْرِ أَكَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقْرَأُ فِي الظُّهْرِ وَالْعَصْرِ، وَلَكِنَّا نَقْرَأُ".
