The Hadith of Jabir ibn Samurah (may Allah be pleased with him)

حَدِيثُ جَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ

Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 20858

And a man committed suicide, upon hearing this, the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) did not offer his funeral prayer.


Grade: Sahih

اور ایک آدمی نے خود کشی کرلی یہ سن کر نبی ﷺ نے اس کی نماز جنازہ نہ پڑھائی۔

aur aik aadmi ne khudkushi karli ye sun kar nabi salallahu alaihi wasallam ne uski namaz janaza na parhayi.

" وَإِنَّ رَجُلًا قَتَلَ نَفْسَهُ فَلَمْ يُصَلِّ عَلَيْهِ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ" .
