Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 20879
It is narrated by Jabir bin Samurah (may Allah be pleased with him) that I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saying on the occasion of Hajj-e-Wida (Farewell Pilgrimage) that this religion will always prevail over its opponents. No opponent or deserter will be able to harm it until twelve caliphs have passed away from my Ummah. Then the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said something that I could not understand. I asked my father what the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) had said. He said that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said that all of them will be from Quraysh.

حضرت جابر بن سمرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ میں نے نبی ﷺ کو حجۃ الوداع کے موقع پر یہ فرماتے ہوئے سنا ہے کہ یہ دین ہمیشہ اپنے مخالفین پر غالب رہے گا اسے کوئی مخالفت کرنے والا یا مفارقت کرنے والا نقصان نہ پہنچا سکے گا یہاں تک کہ میری امت میں بارہ خلیفہ گزر جائیں گے پھر نبی ﷺ نے کچھ کہا جو میں سمجھ نہیں سکا میں نے اپنے والد سے پوچھا کہ نبی ﷺ نے کیا فرمایا ہے انہوں نے کہا کہ نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا ہے وہ سب کے سب قریش سے ہونگے۔
Hazrat Jabir bin Samrah RA se marvi hai ki maine Nabi SAW ko Hajjatul Wida ke mauqe par ye farmate huye suna hai ki ye deen hamesha apne muqalifeen par ghalib rahe ga ise koi muqalifat karne wala ya mufarqat karne wala nuqsan na pahuncha sake ga yahan tak ki meri ummat mein barah khalifa guzar jayen ge phir Nabi SAW ne kuch kaha jo mein samajh nahi saka maine apne walid se pucha ki Nabi SAW ne kya farmaya hai unhon ne kaha ki Nabi SAW ne farmaya hai wo sab ke sab Quresh se honge.
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي ، حَدَّثَنَا دَاوُدُ ، عَنْ عَامِرٍ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي جَابِرُ بْنُ سَمُرَةَ السُّوَائِيُّ ، قَالَ: خَطَبَنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَقَالَ:" إِنَّ هَذَا الدِّينَ لَا يَزَالُ عَزِيزًا إِلَى اثْنَيْ عَشَرَ خَلِيفَةً"، قَالَ: ثُمَّ تَكَلَّمَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِكَلِمَةٍ لَمْ أَفْهَمْهَا، وَضَجَّ النَّاسُ، فَقُلْتُ لِأَبِي: مَا قَالَ؟ قَالَ: " كُلُّهُمْ مِنْ قُرَيْشٍ" .
