Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 20910
It is narrated on the authority of Jabir bin Samra (may Allah be pleased with him) that during the blessed era of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), a man killed himself with a knife. Upon hearing this, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) did not offer his funeral prayer.

حضرت جابر بن سمرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ آپ ﷺ کے دور باسعادت میں ایک شخص نے چھری سے اپنا سینہ چاک کرلیا خودکشی کرلی یہ سن کر نبی ﷺ نے اس کی نماز جنازہ نہ پڑھائی۔
Hazrat Jabir bin Samrah razi Allah anhu se marvi hai keh aap (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke daur ba-saadat mein ek shakhs ne chhuri se apna seena chaak kar liya khudkushi kar li ye sun kar Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne uski namaz janaza na parhayi.
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْد اللَّهِ، حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ نُمَيْرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ يَعْنِي ابْنَ مَنْصُورٍ السَّلُولِيَّ ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْرَائِيلُ ، عَنْ سِمَاكٍ ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ ،" أَنَّ رَجُلًا نَحَرَ نَفْسَهُ بِمِشْقَصٍ، فَلَمْ يُصَلِّ عَلَيْهِ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ" .
