Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 20935
It is narrated on the authority of Jabir bin Samurah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) led the funeral prayer of Abu Dahdah. We were with him. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was riding a horse that began to stumble. Seeing this, we started running behind the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him).

حضرت جابر بن سمرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے حضرت ابودحداح کی نماز جنازہ پڑھائی ہم ان کے ہمراہ تھے نبی ﷺ ایک گھوڑے پر سوار تھے جو بدکنے لگا یہ دیکھ کر ہم نبی ﷺ کے پیچھے دوڑنے لگے۔
Hazrat Jabir bin Samrah RA se marvi hai ki Nabi SAW ne Hazrat Abu Dahda ki namaz janaza parhayi hum un ke hamrah the Nabi SAW aik ghore par sawar the jo badakne laga ye dekh kar hum Nabi SAW ke peeche daudne lage.
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْد اللَّهِ، حَدَّثَنِي يَحْيَى بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ سِمَاكِ بْنِ حَرْبٍ ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ جَابِرَ بْنَ سَمُرَةَ يَقُولُ، كُنَّا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي جَنَازَةِ أَبِي الدَّحْدَاحِ،" وَهُوَ عَلَى فَرَسٍ يَتَوَقَّصُ، وَنَحْنُ نَسْعَى حَوْلَهُ" .
