Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 20962
It is narrated on the authority of Jabir bin Samurah (may Allah be pleased with him) that I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saying on the occasion of Hajj-e-Wida (Farewell Pilgrimage) that this religion will always prevail over its opponents. No opponent or deserter will be able to harm it until twelve Caliphs have passed away from my Ummah." Then the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said something that I could not understand. I asked my father what the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) had said. He replied that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) had said, "All of them will be from Quraysh."
حضرت جابر بن سمرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ میں نے نبی ﷺ کو حجۃ الوداع کے موقع پر یہ فرماتے ہوئے سنا ہے کہ یہ دین ہمیشہ اپنے مخالفین پر غالب رہے گا اسے کوئی مخالفت کرنے والا یا مفارقت کرنے والا نقصان نہ پہنچاسکے گا یہاں تک کہ میری امت میں بارہ خلیفہ گزر جائیں گے پھر نبی ﷺ نے کچھ کہا جو میں سمجھ نہیں سکا میں نے اپنے والد سے پوچھا کہ نبی ﷺ نے کیا فرمایا ہے انہوں نے کہا کہ نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا ہے وہ سب کے سب قریش سے ہونگے۔
Hazrat Jabir bin Samra Radi Allaho Anho se marvi hai ke maine Nabi sallallaho alaihi wasallam ko Hajj tul Wida ke moqe per ye farmate huwe suna hai ke ye deen hamesha apne muqalifeen per ghalib rahe ga ise koi muqalifat karne wala ya mufarqat karne wala nuqsan na pohoncha sake ga yahan tak ke meri ummat mein barah khalifa guzar jayen ge phir Nabi sallallaho alaihi wasallam ne kuch kaha jo mein samajh nahi saka maine apne wald se poocha ke Nabi sallallaho alaihi wasallam ne kya farmaya hai unhon ne kaha ke Nabi sallallaho alaihi wasallam ne farmaya hai wo sab ke sab Quresh se honge.
حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ جَابِرَ بْنَ سَمُرَةَ السُّوَائِيَّ ، يَقُولُ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: " لَا يَزَالُ هَذَا الْأَمْرُ مَاضِيًا، حَتَّى يَقُومَ اثْنَا عَشَرَ أَمِيرًا"، ثُمَّ تَكَلَّمَ بِكَلِمَةٍ خَفِيَتْ عَلَيَّ، فَسَأَلْتُ أَبِي مَا قَالَ؟ قَالَ:" كُلُّهُمْ مِنْ قُرَيْشٍ" .
