Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 21032
It is narrated on the authority of Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that after praying Fajr, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) would remain seated in his place until sunrise.

حضرت جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نماز فجر پڑھنے کے بعد نبی ﷺ طلوع آفتاب تک اپنی جگہ پر ہی بیٹھے رہتے تھے۔

حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ سِمَاكِ بْنِ حَرْبٍ ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ" كَانَ يَجْلِسُ فِي مُصَلَّاهُ إِذَا صَلَّى الْغَدَاةَ حَتَّى تَطْلُعَ الشَّمْسُ حَسْنَاءَ" .
