ومن مسند بني هاشم
The Musnad of Abdullah ibn al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib (may Allah be pleased with them both)

Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 2105
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Ibn 'Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) would not initiate fighting with any people until he had first invited them (to Islam).
Grade: Sahih
سیدنا ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے کسی قوم سے اس وقت تک قتال شروع نہیں کیا جب تک انہیں دعوت نہ دے لی۔
Sayyidna Ibn Abbas ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Rasul Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne kisi qaum se us waqt tak qital shuru nahi kya jab tak unhen dawat na de li.
حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ السَّرِيِّ ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي نَجِيحٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، قَالَ:" مَا قَاتَلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَوْمًا قَطُّ إِلَّا دَعَاهُمْ".
