The Musnad of Abdullah ibn al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib (may Allah be pleased with them both)

Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 2146
Once, Abdullah ibn Zubayr (may Allah be pleased with them both) said to Abdullah ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both), "Do you remember the time when we met the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) when he returned from a journey?" Ibn Abbas said, "Yes! The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) lifted you up in his arms, but left me."

ایک مرتبہ سیدنا عبداللہ بن زبیر رضی اللہ عنہما نے سیدنا عبداللہ بن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما سے کہا: کیا آپ کو یاد ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ ہماری نبی ﷺ سے ملاقات ہوئی تھی جبکہ نبی ﷺ کسی سفر سے واپس آئے تھے؟ انہوں نے فرمایا: ہاں! نبی ﷺ نے ہمیں اٹھا لیا تھا اور آپ کو چھوڑ دیا۔
Ek martaba Syedna Abdullah bin Zubair razi Allah anhuma ne Syedna Abdullah bin Abbas razi Allah anhuma se kaha: kya aap ko yaad hai ki ek martaba hamari Nabi sal Allahu alaihi wasallam se mulaqat hui thi jabke Nabi sal Allahu alaihi wasallam kisi safar se wapas aye thay? Unhon ne farmaya: haan! Nabi sal Allahu alaihi wasallam ne hamen utha liya tha aur aap ko chhor diya.
(حديث موقوف) حَدَّثَنَا حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ حَبِيبٍ يَعْنِي ابْنَ الشَّهِيدِ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي مُلَيْكَةَ ، قَالَ: شَهِدْتُ ابْنَ الزُّبَيْرِ ، وَابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ ، فَقَالَ ابْنُ الزُّبَيْرِ، لِابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ:" أَتَذْكُرُ حِينَ اسْتَقْبَلْنَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، وَقَدْ جَاءَ مِنْ سَفَرٍ؟ فَقَالَ: نَعَمْ، فَحَمَلَنِي وَفُلَانًا غُلَامًا مِنْ بَنِي هَاشِمٍ، وَتَرَكَكَ".
