Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 21701
It is narrated by Abu Darda (may Allah be pleased with him) that once the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) vomited, due to which the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) broke his fast. The narrator says that once I met Thauban (may Allah be pleased with him) in Masjid Nabawi, so I asked him about it too, so he said that I was pouring water for the ablution of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him).

حضرت ابودرداء رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ نبی کریم ﷺ کو قے آگئی جس سے نبی کریم ﷺ نے اپنا روزہ ختم کردیا راوی کہتے ہیں کہ ایک مرتبہ مسجد نبوی میں حضرت ثوبان رضی اللہ عنہ سے میری ملاقات ہوگئی تو میں نے ان سے بھی اس کے متعلق پوچھا تو انہوں نے فرمایا کہ میں نبی کریم ﷺ کے لئے وضو کا پانی ڈال رہا تھا۔
Hazrat Abu Darda Radi Allaho Anho se marvi hai ki aik martaba Nabi Kareem Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam ko qay aa gayi jis se Nabi Kareem Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam ne apna roza khatam kar diya Ravi kehte hain ki aik martaba Masjid Nabvi mein Hazrat Soban Radi Allaho Anho se meri mulaqat ho gayi to maine un se bhi is ke mutalliq poocha to unhon ne farmaya ki main Nabi Kareem Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam ke liye wuzu ka pani daal raha tha.
حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ , أخبرنا هِشَامٌ , عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ , عَنْ يَعِيشَ بْنِ الْوَلِيدِ بْنِ هِشَامٍ , عَنْ ابن مَعْدَانَ أَوْ مَعْدَانَ , عَنْ أَبِي الدَّرْدَاء , أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " قَاءَ فَأَفْطَرَ" , قَالَ: فَلَقِيتُ ثَوْبَانَ فِي مَسْجِدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ , فَسَأَلْتُهُ عَنْ ذَلِكَ؟ فَقَالَ: أَنَا صَبَبْتُ لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَضُوءَهُ.
