Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 21967
It is narrated by Hulb (may Allah be pleased with him) that I saw the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) returning from the right side and also from the left side, and I saw the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) placing his right hand over his left hand on his chest, while the right hand was on the wrist of the left hand.

حضرت ھلب رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ میں نے نبی کریم ﷺ کو دائیں جانب سے واپس جاتے ہوئے بھی دیکھا ہے اور بائیں جانب سے بھی اور میں نے نبی کریم ﷺ کو اپنا داہنا ہاتھ بائیں ہاتھ پر سینے کے اوپر رکھے ہوئے دیکھا ہے جبکہ داہنا ہاتھ بائیں ہاتھ کے جوڑ پر تھا۔
Hazrat Halab RA se marvi hai keh maine Nabi Kareem SAW ko dayen janib se wapas jate hue bhi dekha hai aur bayi janib se bhi aur maine Nabi Kareem SAW ko apna dahina hath bayi hath par seene ke upar rakhe hue dekha hai jab keh dahina hath bayi hath ke jor par tha.
حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ , عَنْ سُفْيَانَ , حَدَّثَنِي سِمَاكٌ , عَنْ قَبِيصَةَ بْنِ هُلْبٍ , عَنْ أَبِيهِ , قَالَ:" رَأَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَنْصَرِفُ عَنْ يَمِينِهِ وَعَنْ يَسَارِهِ , وَرَأَيْتُهُ قَالَ يَضَعُ هَذِهِ عَلَى صَدْرِهِ" , وَصَفَّ يَحْيَى: الْيُمْنَى عَلَى الْيُسْرَى فَوْقَ الْمِفْصَلِ.
