The Musnad of Abdullah ibn al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib (may Allah be pleased with them both)

Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 2258
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyidina Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) that once, while the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was offering prayer, two young girls from the tribe of Banu Abdul Muttalib came and clung to his knees. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) continued praying. Similarly, once, I and an Ansar man passed by the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) while he was offering prayer. We were riding on our donkey. We came and joined the prayer.

سیدنا ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ نبی ﷺ نماز پڑھ رہے تھے کہ بنو عبدالمطلب کی دو بچیاں آ کر نبی ﷺ کے گھٹنوں سے چمٹ گئیں، نبی ﷺ برابر نماز پڑھتے رہے، اسی طرح ایک مرتبہ میں اور ایک انصاری آدمی نبی ﷺ کے پاس سے گزرے، نبی ﷺ اس وقت نماز پڑھ رہے تھے، ہم اپنے گدھے پر سوار تھے، ہم لوگ آئے اور نماز میں شامل ہو گئے۔
Sayyidna Ibn Abbas Radi Allaho Anhuma se marvi hai ki ek martaba Nabi Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam namaz parh rahe the ki Banu Abdul Muttalib ki do bachiyan aa kar Nabi Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam ke ghutno se chimat gayin, Nabi Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam barabar namaz parhte rahe, isi tarah ek martaba main aur ek Ansaari aadmi Nabi Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam ke paas se guzre, Nabi Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam us waqt namaz parh rahe the, hum apne gadhe par sawar the, hum log aaye aur namaz mein shamil ho gaye.
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ مُرَّةَ ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ الْجَزَّارِ ، قَالَ: قَالَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ :" مَرَّتْ جَارِيَتَانِ مِنْ بَنِي هَاشِمٍ، فَجَاءَتَا إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهُوَ يُصَلِّي، فَأَخَذَتَا بِرُكْبَتَيْهِ، فَلَمْ يَنْصَرِفْ , قَالَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ: وَمَرَرْتُ أَنَا وَرَجُلٌ مِنَ الْأَنْصَارِ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهُوَ يُصَلِّي، وَنَحْنُ عَلَى حِمَارٍ فَجِئْنَا، فَدَخَلْنَا فِي الصَّلَاةِ".
