Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 22677
It is narrated on the authority of Ubadah bin Samit (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: The prayer of a person who cannot recite even Surah Fatiha is not valid.
Grade: Sahih
حضرت عبادہ بن صامت رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا کہ اس شخص کی نماز نہیں ہوتی جو سورت فاتحہ کی بھی تلاوت نہ کرسکے۔
Hazrat Ubadah bin Samit (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya ki us shaks ki namaz nahin hoti jo Surah Fatiha ki bhi tilawat na kar sake.
حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ مَحْمُودِ بْنِ الرَّبِيعِ ، عَنْ عُبَادَةَ بْنِ الصَّامِتِ ، رِوَايَةً يَبْلُغُ بِهَا النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " لَا صَلَاةَ لِمَنْ لَمْ يَقْرَأْ بِفَاتِحَةِ الْكِتَابِ" .
