Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 22843
It is narrated on the authority of Sahl (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) considered asking questions as disliked and objectionable (for complete details see Hadith No. 23218).

حضرت سہل رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے سوال کرنے کو ناپسند اور معیوب قرار دیا ہے (مکمل تفصیل کے لئے حدیث نمبر ٢٣٢١٨ دیکھئے)
Hazrat Sahal (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne sawal karne ko napasand aur maayooub karar diya hai (mukammal tafseel ke liye hadees number 23218 dekhiye).
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو نُوحٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكُ بْنُ أَنَسٍ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ السَّاعِدِيِّ ، قَالَ: " كَرِهَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْمَسَائِلَ وَعَابَهَا" .
