Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 22867
It is narrated by Sahl (may Allah be pleased with him) that once a drink was brought to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) drank from it. There was a boy on his right and elderly people on his left. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) asked the boy, "Do you permit me to give the rest of this to them?" The boy said, "No, by Allah! I will not give preference to anyone over you." So the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) placed the vessel in his hand.

حضرت سہل رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ کی خدمت میں ایک مرتبہ کوئی مشروب لایا گیا نبی کریم ﷺ نے اسے نوش فرمایا آپ کے دائیں جانب ایک لڑکا تھا اور بائیں جانب عمر رسیدہ افراد نبی کریم ﷺ نے اس لڑکے سے پوچھا کیا تم مجھے اس بات کی اجازت دیتے ہو کہ اپنا پس خودرہ انہیں دے دوں؟ اس لڑکے نے " نہیں " کہا اور کہنے لگا اللہ کی قسم! میں آپ کے حصے پر کسی کو ترجیح نہیں دوں گا چنانچہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے وہ برتن اس کے ہاتھ پر پٹک دیا۔
Hazrat Sahal Radi Allaho Anho Se Marvi Hai Ke Nabi Kareem Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam Ki Khidmat Mein Ek Martaba Koi Mashroob Laaya Gaya Nabi Kareem Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam Ne Usey Noosh Farmaya Aap Ke Dayen Jaanib Ek Ladka Tha Aur Bayen Jaanib Umar Rasida Afrad Nabi Kareem Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam Ne Iss Ladke Se Poocha Kya Tum Mujhe Iss Baat Ki Ijazat Dete Ho Ke Apna Pisa Khud Rakhun Unhen De Dun Iss Ladke Ne Nahi Kaha Aur Kehne Laga Allah Ki Kasam Main Aap Ke Hisse Par Kisi Ko Tarjeeh Nahi Dun Ga Chunancha Nabi Kareem Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam Ne Woh Bartan Iss Ke Hath Par Patak Diya
حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ دَاوُدَ ، قَالَ: قُرِئَ عَلَى مَالِكٍ أَبُو حَازِمٍ ، عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ , أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أُتِيَ بِشَرَابٍ فَشَرِبَ مِنْهُ، وَعَنْ يَمِينِهِ غُلَامٌ، وَعَنْ شِمَالِهِ الْأَشْيَاخُ، فَقَالَ لِلْغُلَامِ: " أَتَأْذَنُ فِي أَنْ أُعْطِيَهُ هَؤُلَاءِ؟" فَقَالَ: وَاللَّهِ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ، مَا كُنْتُ لِأُوثِرَ بِنَصِيبِي مِنْكَ أَحَدًا .
