Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 23375
Narrated Hudhaifa (may Allah be pleased with him) that once I prayed behind the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) started reciting Surah Baqarah. When he reached one hundred verses, I thought the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) would now go into Ruku (bowing). But the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) kept reciting until he reached two hundred verses. I thought that perhaps now he would go into Ruku but the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) kept reciting until he finished it. Then the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) started reciting Surah Nisa and went into Ruku after reciting it. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) kept reciting “Subhana Rabbiy-al-Azeem'' (Glory be to my Lord, the Most Great) in his Ruku and “Subhana Rabbiy-al-A’laa” (Glory be to my Lord, the Most High) in his Sajdah (prostration). And whenever he passed over a verse of mercy, he would stop and pray for it, and whenever he passed over a verse of punishment, he would stop and seek refuge in Allah from it.

حضرت حذیفہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ میں نے نبی ﷺ کے ساتھ نماز پڑھی، نبی ﷺ نے سورت بقرہ شروع کردی، جب سو آیات پر پہنچے تو میں نے سوچا کہ نبی ﷺ اب رکوع کریں گے، لیکن نبی ﷺ پڑھتے رہے حتی کہ دو سو آیات تک پہنچ گئے، میں نے سوچا کہ شاید اب رکوع کریں گے، لیکن نبی ﷺ پڑھتے رہے حتی کہ اسے ختم کرلیا، لیکن نبی ﷺ نے سورت نساء شروع کرلی اور اسے پڑھ کر رکوع کیا، نبی ﷺ اپنے رکوع میں " سبحان ربی العظیم " اور سجدہ میں " سبحان ربی الاعلی " کہتے رہے اور رحمت کی جس آیت پر گذرتے وہاں رک کر دعا مانگتے اور عذاب کی جس آیت پر گذرتے تو وہاں رک کر اس سے پناہ مانگتے تھے۔
Hazrat Huzaifa (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki aik martaba maine Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke sath namaz parhi, Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne Surah Baqarah shuru kar di, jab sau ayaton per pahunche to maine socha ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ab ruku karenge, lekin Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) parhte rahe hatta ki do sau ayaton tak pahunch gaye, maine socha ki shayad ab ruku karenge, lekin Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) parhte rahe hatta ki ise khatam kar liya, lekin Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne Surah Nisa shuru kar li aur ise parh kar ruku kiya, Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) apne ruku mein "Subhana Rabbiy al Azeem" aur sajdah mein "Subhana Rabbiy al A'ala" kahte rahe aur rehmat ki jis ayat par guzarte wahan ruk kar dua mangte aur azab ki jis ayat par guzarte to wahan ruk kar is se panah mangte the.
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بنُ جَعْفَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبةُ ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بنِ مُرَّةَ ، عَنْ أَبي حَمْزَةَ رَجُلٍ مِنَ الْأَنْصَارِ، عَنْ رَجُلٍ مِنْ بنِي عَبسٍ، عَنْ حُذَيْفَةَ أَنَّهُ صَلَّى مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِنَ اللَّيْلِ، فَلَمَّا دَخَلَ فِي الصَّلَاةِ، قَالَ: " اللَّهُ أَكْبرُ ذُو الْمَلَكُوتِ وَالْجَبرُوتِ، وَالْكِبرِيَاءِ وَالْعَظَمَةِ"، قَالَ: ثُمَّ قَرَأَ، ثُمَّ رَكَعَ، وَكَانَ رُكُوعُهُ نَحْوًا مِنْ قِيَامِهِ، وَكَانَ يَقُولُ:" سُبحَانَ رَبيَ الْعَظِيمِ، سُبحَانَ رَبى الْعَظِيمِ"، ثُمَّ رَفَعَ رَأْسَهُ، فَكَانَ قِيَامُهُ نَحْوًا مِنْ رُكُوعِهِ، وَكَانَ يَقُولُ:" لِرَبيَ الْحَمْدُ، لِرَبيَ الْحَمْدُ"، ثُمَّ سَجَدَ، فَكَانَ سُجُودُهُ نَحْوًا مِنْ قِيَامِهِ، وَكَانَ يَقُولُ:" سُبحَانَ رَبيَ الْأَعْلَى، سُبحَانَ رَبيَ الْأَعْلَى"، ثُمَّ رَفَعَ رَأْسَهُ، فَكَانَ مَا بيْنَ السَّجْدَتَيْنِ نَحْوًا مِنَ السُّجُودِ، وَكَانَ يَقُولُ:" رَب اغْفِرْ لِي، رَب اغْفِرْ لِي"، قَالَ: حَتَّى قَرَأَ، عمران،، وَالْمَائِدَةَ، وَالْأَنْعَامَ" . شُعْبةُ الَّذِي يَشُكُّ فِي وَالْأَنْعَامَ.
