Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 23409
It is narrated on the authority of Hudhayfah (may Allah be pleased with him) that once, in the intense heat, the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) set out and instructed the people, "Water is very scarce, so no one should reach the destination before me."

حضرت حذیفہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ سخت گرمی کے موسم میں نبی کریم ﷺ روانہ ہوئے اور لوگوں سے فرما دیا کہ پانی بہت تھوڑا ہے لہٰذا اس مقام پر مجھ سے پہلے کوئی نہ پہنچے۔
Hazrat Huzaifa (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki ek martaba sakht garmi ke mausam mein Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) rawana huye aur logon se farma diya ki pani bahut thoda hai lihaza is maqam par mujh se pehle koi na pahunche.
حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، عَنْ وَلِيدِ بنِ عَبدِ اللَّهِ بنِ جُمَيْعٍ ، عَنْ أَبي الطُّفَيْلِ ، عَنْ حُذَيْفَةَ , أَنّ النَّبيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ فِي سَفَرٍ، فَبلَغَهُ عَنِ الْمَاءِ قِلَّةٌ، فَقَالَ: " لَا يَسْبقْنِي إِلَى الْمَاءِ أَحَدٌ" .
