Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 24033
Furoh bin Naufal reported that he asked Ayesha (may Allah be pleased with her) about the Prophet's (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) supplication. She said that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to say this supplication: "O Allah! I seek refuge in You from the evil of what my soul has earned."

فروہ بن نوفل کہتے ہیں کہ میں نے حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے نبی ﷺ کی دعا کے متعلق پوچھا تو انہوں نے فرمایا کہ نبی ﷺ یہ دعا فرماتے تھے، اے اللہ! میں ان چیزوں کے شر سے آپ کی پناہ میں آتا ہوں جو میرے نفس نے کی ہیں۔
Froh bin Nofal kahte hain ke maine Hazrat Ayesha Radi Allaho Anha se Nabi Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam ki dua ke mutaliq poocha to unhon ne farmaya ke Nabi Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam ye dua farmate the, Ae Allah! main in cheezon ke shar se aap ki panah mein aata hun jo mere nafs ne ki hain.
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ فُضَيْلٍ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا حُصَيْنٌ ، عَنْ هِلَالِ بْنِ يِسَافٍ ، عَنْ فَرْوَةَ بْنِ نَوْفَلٍ ، قَالَ: سَأَلْتُ عَائِشَةَ عَنْ دُعَاءِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ؟ قَالَتْ: كَانَ يَقُولُ: " اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا عَمِلَتْهُ نَفْسِي" .
