Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 24143
It is narrated on the authority of Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that it is not Sunnah (tradition of Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him) to camp in the place called "Abtah." The Prophet (peace be upon him) had only camped there because it was easier to exit from that direction.

حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے مروی ہے کہ مقام " ابطح " میں پڑاؤ کرنا سنت نہیں ہے، بلکہ نبی ﷺ نے وہاں صرف اس لئے پڑاؤ کیا تھا کہ اس طرف سے نکلنا زیادہ آسان تھا۔
Hazrat Aisha raziallahu anha se marvi hai ki maqam "Abtah" mein padav karna sunnat nahi hai, balki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne wahan sirf is liye padav kiya tha ki us taraf se nikalna zyada aasan tha.
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَةُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، قَالَت: " إِنَّ نُزُولَ الْأَبْطَحِ لَيْسَ بِسُنَّةٍ، إِنَّمَا نَزَلَهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لِأَنَّهُ كَانَ أَسْمَحَ لِخُرُوجِهِ" .
