Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 24245
It was narrated from Aisha, may Allah be pleased with her, that a woman came to her who was known for her hard work and striving in worship. When she mentioned her to the Prophet, may the peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, he said: “Refrain from that and oblige yourself to do only that which you are capable of, for by Allah, Allah is not tired of rewarding you until you get tired of doing good deeds. And the most beloved of deeds to Allah are those that are done consistently, even if they are few.”

حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے مروی ہے کہ ان کے پاس ایک عورت آتی تھی جو عبادات میں محنت و مشقت برداشت کرنے کے حوالے سے مشہور تھی، انہوں نے جب نبی ﷺ سے اس کا تذکرہ کیا تو نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا رک جاؤ اور اپنے اوپر ان چیزوں کو لازم کیا کرو جن کی تم میں طاقت بھی ہو، واللہ اللہ تعالیٰ نہیں اکتائے گا بلکہ تم ہی اکتا جاؤ گے، اللہ کے نزدیک دین کا سب سے زیادہ پسند یدہ عمل وہ ہے جو دائمی ہو اگرچہ تھوڑا ہو۔
Hazrat Ayesha ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ا) se marvi hai ke un ke paas ek aurat aati thi jo ibadaton mein mehnat o mushqat bardasht karne ke hawale se mashhoor thi, unhon ne jab Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) se is ka tazkira kiya to Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya ruk jao aur apne upar in cheezon ko lazim kiya karo jin ki tum mein taqat bhi ho, wallah Allah Ta'ala nahin uktaye ga balki tum hi ukta jaoge, Allah ke qareeb deen ka sab se zyada pasandida amal wo hai jo daemi ho agarcha thora ho.
حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى ، حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي أَبِي ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ دَخَلَ عَلَيْهَا، وَعِنْدَهَا فُلَانَةُ، لِامْرَأَةٍ، فَذَكَرَتْ مِنْ صَلَاتِهَا، فَقَالَ: " مَهْ، عَلَيْكُمْ بِمَا تُطِيقُونَ، فَوَاللَّهِ لَا يَمَلُّ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ حَتَّى تَمَلُّوا، إِنَّ أَحَبَّ الدِّينِ إِلَى اللَّهِ مَا دَاوَمَ عَلَيْهِ صَاحِبُهُ" .
