Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 24272
It is narrated by Aisha (peace be upon her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) married me in the month of Shawwal and I was sent to his house in Shawwal. Now tell me, which wife had a greater share than me with the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him)? (Therefore, it is wrong to say that the month of Shawwal is unlucky). That is why Aisha (peace be upon her) liked that women should be sent to their husbands' houses in the month of Shawwal.

حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے شوال کے مہینے میں مجھ سے نکاح فرمایا اور شوال ہی میں مجھے ان کے یہاں رخصت کیا گیا، اب یہ بتاؤ کہ نبی ﷺ کے نزدیک مجھ سے زیادہ کس بیوی کا حصہ تھا؟ (لہٰذا یہ کہنا کہ شوال کا مہینہ منحوس ہے، غلط ہے) اسی وجہ سے حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا اس بات کو پسند فرماتی تھیں کہ عورتوں کی رخصتی ماہ شوال ہی میں ہو۔
Hazrat Ayesha ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ا) se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne Shawwal ke mahine mein mujhse nikah farmaya aur Shawwal hi mein mujhe unke yahan rukhsat kiya gaya, ab ye batao ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke nazdeek mujhse zyada kis biwi ka hissa tha? (Lihaza ye kehna ki Shawwal ka mahina manhoos hai, galat hai) Isi wajah se Hazrat Ayesha ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ا) is baat ko pasand farmati thin ki auraton ki rukhsati mah Shawwal hi mein ho.
حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ ، عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ أُمَيَّةَ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُرْوَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، قَالَت: " تَزَوَّجَنِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي شَوَّالٍ، وَأُدْخِلْتُ عَلَيْهِ فِي شَوَّالٍ فَأَيُّ نِسَائِهِ كَانَ أَحْظَى عِنْدَهُ مِنِّي؟ فَكَانَتْ تَسْتَحِبُّ أَنْ تُدْخِلَ نِسَاءَهَا فِي شَوَّالٍ" .
