Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 24297
Narrated `Aisha: The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Were it not that your people (Arabs) have recently left the pre-Islamic period of ignorance, I would have demolished the Ka`ba and would have rebuilt it on the foundations laid by Abraham, for the Quraish when they rebuilt it, curtailed (its size) and left out a portion of it, and I would have made in it two doors, one to the east and the other to the west."

حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا اگر تمہاری قوم کا زمانہ کفر کے قریب نہ ہوتا تو میں خانہ کعبہ کو شہید کرکے اسے حضرت ابراہیم علیہ السلام کی بنیادوں پر تعمیر کرتا کیونکہ قریش نے جب اسے تعمیر کیا تھا تو اس کا کچھ حصہ چھوڑ دیا تھا اور میں اس کا ایک دروازہ پیچھے سے بھی نکالتا۔
Hazrat Ayesha Radi Allaho Anha se marvi hai keh Nabi Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam ne irshad farmaya agar tumhari qaum ka zamana kufr ke qareeb na hota to main Khanah Kaaba ko shaheed karke usay Hazrat Ibrahim Alaihissalam ki bunyadon par tameer karta kyunki Quresh ne jab isay tameer kiya tha to is ka kuch hissa chhor diya tha aur main is ka ek darwaza peeche se bhi nikalta.
حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ ، وَأَبُو أُسَامَةَ ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا هِشَامٌ الْمَعْنَى، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، قَالَت: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " لَوْلَا حَدَاثَةُ عَهْدِ قَوْمِكِ بِالْكُفْرِ، لَنَقَضْتُ الْكَعْبَةَ، ثُمَّ جَعَلْتُهَا عَلَى أُسِّ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَام، فَإِنَّ قُرَيْشًا يَوْمَ بَنَتْهَا اسْتَقْصَرَتْ، وَلَجَعَلْتُ لَهَا خَلْفًا" ، قَالَ أَبُو أُسَامَةَ" خِلْفًا".
