Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 24335
It is narrated on the authority of Aisha Radi Allahu Anha that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) heard a man reciting a verse of the Holy Quran and said, “May Allah shower His mercy on him, he has reminded me of such and such a verse which I had forgotten.”

حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا سی مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے ایک آدمی کو قرآن کریم کی ایک آیت پڑھتے ہوئے سنا تو فرمایا کہ اللہ اس پر اپنی رحمت نازل کرے، اس نے مجھے فلاں آیت یاد دلادی جو میں بھول گیا تھا۔
Hazrat Ayesha ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ا) se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne ek aadmi ko Quran Kareem ki ek ayat parhte hue suna to farmaya ki Allah is par apni rehmat nazil kare, is ne mujhe falan ayat yaad diladi jo main bhul gaya tha.
حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، قَالَت: سَمِعَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَجُلًا يَقْرَأُ آيَةً فَقَالَ: " رَحِمَهُ اللَّهُ، لَقَدْ أَذْكَرَنِي آيَةً كُنْتُ نُسِّيتُهَا" .
