Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 24363
It is narrated on the authority of Hazrat Aisha Radi Allahu Anha that the Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him said: “The Imam is a guarantor and the Mu'adh-dhin (one who calls to prayer) is a trustee, therefore may Allah guide the Imam and forgive the Mu'adh-dhin.”

حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا امام ضامن ہوتا ہے اور مؤذن امانت دار ہوتا ہے، اس لئے اللہ امام کو ہدایت دے اور مؤذن کو معاف فرمائے۔
Hazrat Aisha ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ا) se marvi hai ke Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya imam zaman hota hai aur moazzin amanatdar hota hai is liye Allah imam ko hidayat de aur moazzin ko maaf farmaye.
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَيْوَةُ بْنُ شُرَيْحٍ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي نَافِعُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ ، أَنَّ مُحَمَّدَ بْنَ أَبِي صَالِحٍ حَدَّثَهُ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ عَائِشَةَ زَوْجَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، تَقُولُ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " الْإِمَامُ ضَامِنٌ، وَالْمُؤَذِّنُ مُؤْتَمَنٌ، فَأَرْشَدَ اللَّهُ الْإِمَامَ، وَعَفَا عَنِ الْمُؤَذِّنِ" .
