Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 24412
It is narrated on the authority of Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that I asked the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) about looking right and left during prayer, so the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "This is a snatching attack that Satan makes to snatch away from the prayer of a person."

حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے مروی ہے کہ میں نے نبی ﷺ سے دوران نماز دائیں بائیں دیکھنے کا حکم پو چھا تو نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا یہ اچک لینے والا حملہ ہوتا ہے جو شیطان انسان کی نماز سے اچک لیتا ہے۔
Hazrat Ayesha Radi Allaho Anha se marvi hai keh maine Nabi Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam se dauran namaz daen baen dekhne ka hukum poocha tou Nabi Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam ne farmaya yeh uchak lene wala hamla hota hai jo shaitan insan ki namaz se uchak leta hai.
حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا زَائِدَةُ ، عَنْ أَشْعَثَ بْنِ أَبِي الشَّعْثَاءِ ، عَنْ مَسْرُوقٍ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، قَالَت: سَأَلْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنِ التَّلَفُّتِ فِي الصَّلَاةِ، فَقَالَ: " اخْتِلَاسٌ يَخْتَلِسُهُ الشَّيْطَانُ مِنْ صَلَاةِ الْعَبْدِ" .
