Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 24502
Amr bin Suwaid said that once the issue of applying perfume in the state of Ihram was being discussed in the presence of Aisha bint Talha. She said that Ummul Momineen Aisha Siddiqa used to say that when they (the women) would set out for Hajj with the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), they would have their hair tied up, and this braid would have been tied before entering the state of Ihram. Then they would take a bath while keeping this braid tied. When they would sweat, they would take a bath, and the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) did not forbid them from doing so.

عمرو بن سوید کہتے ہیں کہ ایک مرتبہ عائشہ بنت طلحہ کے سامنے محرم کے خوشبو لگانے کا مسئلہ بیان ہو رہا تھا، انہوں نے بتایا کہ ام المومینن حضرت عائشہ صدیقہ فرماتی ہیں کہ وہ لوگ نبی ﷺ کے ہمراہ روانہ ہوئیں، انہوں نے اپنے سر کے بال چپکا رکھے تھے اور یہ پٹی انہوں نے احرام سے پہلے باندھ رکھی تھی، پھر وہ اس پٹی کو سر پر باندھے باندھے غسل کرلیتی تھیں، انہیں پسینہ آتا تو وہ غسل کرلیتی تھیں اور نبی ﷺ اس سے منع نہیں فرماتے تھے۔

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ سُوَيْدٍ ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ عَائِشَةَ بِنْت طَلْحَةَ تَذْكُرُ، وَذُكِرَ عِنْدَهَا الْمُحْرِمُ يَتَطَيَّبُ، فَذَكَرَتْ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ أُمِّ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ: " أَنَّهُنَّ كُنَّ يَخْرُجْنَ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَلَيْهِنَّ الضِّمَادُ، قَدْ اضْطَمَدْنَ قَبْلَ أَنْ يُحْرِمْنَ، ثُمَّ يَغْتَسِلْنَ وَهُوَ عَلَيْهِنَّ، يَعْرَقْنَ وَيَغْتَسِلْنَ لَا يَنْهَاهُنَّ عَنْهُ" .
