Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 24548
It is narrated on the authority of Ayesha that the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said that once a slave who was writing a book for him came to him to pay the remaining amount of his writing fee. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) told him that he would not be able to come to him anymore after this day. However, he should make Jihad in the path of Allah compulsory upon himself because he had heard the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) say that if a Muslim has even a speck of dust's worth of love for Jihad in the path of Allah mixed in his heart, then Allah makes the fire of Hell Haram (forbidden) for him.

حضرت عائشہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا کہ ان کا ایک مکاتب غلام ان کے پاس اپنا بقیہ بدل کتابت ادا کرنے کے لئے آیا تو انہوں نے اس سے فرمایا کہ آج کے بعد تم میرے پاس نہیں آسکو گے، البتہ تم اپنے اوپر جہاد فی سبیل اللہ کو لازم کرلینا کیونکہ میں نے نبی ﷺ کو یہ فرماتے ہوئے سنا ہے کہ جس مسلمان آدمی کے دل میں جہاد فی سبیل اللہ کا غبار خلط ملط ہوجائے تو اللہ اس پر جہنم کی آگ کو حرام قرار دے دیتا ہے۔
Hazrat Aisha se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya ki unka ek katib ghulam unke pas apna baqaya badal kitaabat ada karne ke liye aaya to unhon ne us se farmaya ki aaj ke baad tum mere pas nahi aa sakoge albatta tum apne upar jihad fi sabilillah ko lazim karlena kyunki maine Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko ye farmate hue suna hai ki jis musalman aadmi ke dil mein jihad fi sabilillah ka ghubar khalat malat hojae to Allah us par jahannam ki aag ko haram qarar de deta hai.
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْيَمَانِ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ ، عَنْ الْأَوْزَاعِيِّ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْقَاسِمِ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، أَنَّ مُكَاتِبًا لَهَا دَخَلَ عَلَيْهَا بِبَقِيَّةِ مُكَاتَبَتِهِ، فَقَالَتْ لَهُ: أَنْتَ غَيْرُ دَاخِلٍ عَلَيَّ غَيْرَ مَرَّتِكَ هَذِهِ، فَعَلَيْكَ بِالْجِهَادِ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ، فَإِنِّي سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، يَقُولُ: " مَا خَالَطَ قَلْبَ امْرِئٍ مُسْلِمٍ رَهَجٌ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ إِلَّا حَرَّمَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ النَّارَ" .
