Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 24597
Saeed says that once someone said to Ayesha (may Allah be pleased with her), "O Mother of the Believers! This time the moon was sighted on the 29th night itself." She replied, "What's so surprising about that? I have fasted with the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) for more than thirty days with only twenty-nine days in them."

سعید کہتے ہیں کہ ایک مرتبہ کسی نے حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا کہا کہ اے ام المومنین! اس دفعہ تو چاند ٢٩ ویں تاریخ کو ہی نظر آگیا ہے، انہوں نے فرمایا کہ اس میں تعجب کی کون سی بات ہے؟ میں نے تو نبی ﷺ کے ساتھ ٣٠ سے زیادہ ٢٩ کے روزے رکھے ہیں۔
Saeed kehte hain ke aik martaba kisi ne Hazrat Ayesha ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ا) kaha ke aye Ummul Momineen is dafa to chand 29 ween tareekh ko hi nazar aagaya hai unhon ne farmaya ke is mein taajjub ki kon si baat hai maine to Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke sath 30 se zyada 29 ke roze rakhe hain.
حَدَّثَنَا هَاشِمٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، قَالَ: قِيلَ لِعَائِشَةَ : يَا أُمَّ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ، هَذَا الشَّهْرُ تِسْعٌ وَعِشْرُونَ! قَالَتْ: وَمَا يُعْجِبُكُمْ مِنْ ذَلِكَ،" لَمَا صُمْتُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ تِسْعًا وَعِشْرِينَ أَكْثَرُ مِمَّا صُمْتُ ثَلَاثِينَ" .
