Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 24728
Narrated Aisha: The Prophet (ﷺ) used to seek refuge with Allah for himself from the evil of jinns and of the evil eye. When he fell ill and at the time of his death, I used to recite (these Suras) and blow on him, and when his illness was aggravated, I used to take his hand and rub his body with it for his hand had more blessings (because of accepting Islam by the people) (i.e. people embraced Islam just by seeing the Prophet's hand).

حضرت عائشہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ اپنے اوپر معوذات پڑھ کر دم کرتے تھے، جب نبی ﷺ مرض الوفات میں مبتلا ہوئے تو میں ان کا دست مبارک پکڑتی اور یہ کلمات پڑھ کر نبی ﷺ کے ہاتھ ان کے جسم پر پھیر دیتی، تاکہ ان کے ہاتھ کی برکت بھی شامل ہوجائے۔
Hazrat Ayesha se marvi hai keh Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) apne upar muawzaten parh kar dum karte thay, jab Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) marz ul wafat mein mubtala hue to mein unka dast mubarak pakarti aur yeh kalmat parh kar Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke hath unke jism par phir deti, takay unke hath ki barkat bhi shamil hojaye.
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سَلَمَةَ الْخُزَاعِيُّ ، قالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا مَالِكٌ ، عَنْ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ : أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ " يَقْرَأُ عَلَى نَفْسِهِ الْمُعَوِّذَاتِ وَيَنْفُثُ". قَالَتْ عَائِشَةُ:" فَلَمَّا اشْتَكَى صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ جَعَلْتُ أَقْرَأُ عَلَيْهِ، وَأَمْسَحُهُ بِكَفِّهِ رَجَاءَ بَرَكَةِ يَدِهِ" .
