Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 24806
It is narrated on the authority of Aisha that sometimes the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) would be in a state of Janabah (ritual impurity after sexual intercourse) in the morning, so he would take a bath and leave for the mosque, while drops of water would be dripping from his blessed head, and he would intend to fast that day.

حضرت عائشہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ بعض اوقات صبح کے وقت جنبی ہوتے تو غسل فرماتے اور مسجد کی طرف چل پڑتے، اس وقت نبی ﷺ کے سر مبارک سے پانی کے قطرات ٹپک رہے ہوتے تھے اور نبی ﷺ اس دن کے روزے کی نیت فرمالیتے تھے۔
Hazrat Ayesha se marvi hai keh Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) baaz auqat subah ke waqt junubi hote to ghusl farmate aur masjid ki taraf chal parte, us waqt Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke sar mubarak se pani ke qatrat tapk rahe hote thay aur Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) us din ke roze ki niyat farmate thay.
حَدَّثَنَا حُسَيْنٌ ، وَأَبُو أَحْمَدَ الزُّبَيْرِيُّ ، قَالَا: حَدَّثَنَا إِسْرَائِيلُ ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ ، عَنْ الْأَسْوَدِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، قَالَتْ: كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " يَغْتَسِلُ مِنَ الْجَنَابَةِ، ثُمَّ يَأْتِي الْمَسْجِدَ وَرَأْسُهُ يَقْطُرُ، وَهُوَ يُرِيدُ الصَّوْمَ ذَلِكَ الْيَوْمَ" .
