ومن مسند بني هاشم
The Musnad of Abdullah ibn al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib (may Allah be pleased with them both)

Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 2486
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Ibn 'Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to glance right and left with the corners of his eyes during prayer, but he would not turn his neck to look behind him.
سیدنا ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نماز پڑھتے ہوئے کن اکھیوں سے دائیں بائیں دیکھ لیا کرتے تھے لیکن گردن موڑ کر پیچھے نہیں دیکھتے تھے۔

حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي هِنْدٍ ، عَنْ رَجُلٍ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ عِكْرِمَةَ، قَالَ: كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ" يَلْحَظُ فِي صَلَاتِهِ مِنْ غَيْرِ أَنْ يَلْوِيَ عُنُقَهُ".
