Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 24967
Narrated Aisha, may Allah be pleased with her: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, did not fast in any month more than Sha'ban, for he used to fast almost all of it. He used to say: "Do deeds as much as you can bear, for Allah does not get tired (of rewarding), but you will get tired. And the most beloved prayer to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, was the one that was continuous, even if it was little. And whenever the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, would pray a prayer, he would adhere to it."

حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ سال کے کسی مہینے میں شعبان سے زیادہ روزے نہیں رکھتے تھے، کہ وہ تقریبا شعبان کا پورا مہینہ ہی روزہ رکھتے تھے اور فرماتے تھے کہ اتنا عمل کیا کرو جتنے کی تم میں طاقت ہو، کیونکہ اللہ تو نہیں اکتائے گا، البتہ تم ضرور اکتا جاؤگے اور نبی ﷺ کے نزدیک سب سے زیادہ پسندیدہ نماز وہ ہوتی تھے جس پر دوام ہو سکے اگرچہ اس کی مقدار تھوڑی ہی ہو اور خود نبی ﷺ جب کوئی نماز پڑھتے تو اسے ہمیشہ پڑھتے تھے۔
Hazrat Ayesha Radi Allaho Anha se marvi hai keh Nabi Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam saal ke kisi mahine mein Shaban se zyada rozy nahi rakhte thy, keh woh taqreeban Shaban ka poora mahina hi roza rakhte thy aur farmate thy keh itna amal kia karo jitne ki tum mein taqat ho, kyunki Allah to nahi uktaye ga, albatta tum zaroor ukta jao gy aur Nabi Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam ke nazdeek sab se zyada pasandida namaz woh hoti thi jis per dawam ho sake agarcheh iski miqdar thori hi ho aur khud Nabi Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam jab koi namaz parhte to ise humesha parhte thy.
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا هِشَامٌ الدَّسْتُوَائِيُّ ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ، أَنَّ عَائِشَةَ حَدَّثَتْهُ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " لَمْ يَكُنْ يَصُومُ مِنْ شَهْرٍ مِنَ السَّنَةِ أَكْثَرَ مِنْ صِيَامِهِ مِنْ شَعْبَانَ، فَإِنَّهُ كَانَ يَصُومُ شَعْبَانَ كُلَّهُ" . وَكَانَ يَقُولُ: " خُذُوا مِنَ الْعَمَلِ مَا تُطِيقُونَ، فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ لَا يَمَلُّ حَتَّى تَمَلُّوا، فَإِنَّهُ كَانَ أَحَبُّ الصَّلَاةِ إِلَيْهِ مَا دَاوَمَ عَلَيْهَا، وَإِنْ قَلَّ". وَكَانَ إِذَا صَلَّى صَلَاةً يُدَاوِمُ عَلَيْهَا" .
