Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 25100
Narrated Aisha, the wife of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), that once Angel Gabriel made an appointment with the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) waited for him at the appointed time, but when he did not come, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) went out and saw that he was standing at the door. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, “I was waiting for you according to your appointment.” He replied, “There is a dog inside the house, and we do not enter a house in which there is a dog or pictures.” There was a puppy belonging to Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) under a bed. At the command of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), it was immediately taken out, and in the morning the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) ordered the killing of dogs.

حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ حضرت جبرائیل علیہ السلام نے نبی ﷺ سے کسی وقت آنے کا وعدہ کیا، نبی ﷺ وقت مقرہ پر ان کا انتظار کرتے رہے، لیکن جب وہ نہ آئے تو نبی ﷺ گھر سے باہر نکلے، دیکھا کہ دروازے پر کھڑے ہیں، نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا میں آپ کے وعدہ کے مطابق آپ کا انتظار کرتا رہا، انہوں نے جواب دیا کہ گھر کے اندر کتا موجود ہے اور ہم لوگ اس گھر میں داخل نہیں ہوتے جہاں کتا یا تصویریں ہوں، دراصل حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا کی چارپائی کے نیچے کتے کا ایک پلہ تھا، نبی ﷺ کے حکم سے اسی وقت باہر نکال دیا گیا اور صبح ہونے پر نبی ﷺ نے کتوں کو مارنے کا حکم دے دیا۔
Hazrat Ayesha Radi Allaho Anha se marvi hai keh ek martaba Hazrat Jibraeel Alaihissalam ne Nabi Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam se kisi waqt aane ka wada kiya, Nabi Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam waqt muqarra par unka intezar karte rahe, lekin jab wo na aye to Nabi Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam ghar se bahar nikle, dekha keh darwaze par khade hain, Nabi Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam ne farmaya main aapke wada ke mutabiq aapka intezar karta raha, unhon ne jawab diya keh ghar ke andar kutta mojood hai aur hum log us ghar mein dakhil nahin hote jahan kutta ya tasveerein hon, darasal Hazrat Ayesha Radi Allaho Anha ki charpai ke neeche kutte ka ek pilla tha, Nabi Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam ke hukam se usi waqt bahar nikal diya gaya aur subah hone par Nabi Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam ne kutton ko marne ka hukam de diya.
حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ عَمْرٍو ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، قَالَتْ: وَاعَدَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ جِبْرِيلُ فِي سَاعَةٍ أَنْ يَأْتِيَهُ فِيهَا، فَرَاثَ عَلَيْهِ أَنْ يَأْتِيَهُ فِيهَا، فَخَرَجَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَوَجَدَهُ بِالْبَابِ قَائِمًا، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " إِنِّي انْتَظَرْتُكَ لِمِيعَادِكَ"، فَقَالَ: إِنَّ فِي الْبَيْتِ كَلْبًا، وَلَا نَدْخُلُ بَيْتًا فِيهِ كَلْبٌ وَلَا صُورَةٌ، وَكَانَ تَحْتَ سَرِيرِ عَائِشَةَ جِرْوُ كَلْبٍ، فَأَمَرَ بِهِ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَأُخْرِجَ ثُمَّ أَمَرَ بِالْكِلَابِ حِينَ أَصْبَحَ فَقُتِلَتْ .
