Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 25148
It is narrated by Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that sometimes I would be sleeping in front of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and my feet would be in the direction of the Qibla of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). When the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) would go into prostration, he would nudge me and I would pull my feet back. When he would stand up, I would spread them out again. And in those days, there were no lamps in the houses.

حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے مروی ہے کہ بعض اوقات میں نبی ﷺ کے سامنے سو رہی ہوتی تھی اور میرے پاؤں نبی ﷺ کے قبلے کی سمت میں ہوتے تھے، جب نبی ﷺ سجدے میں جانے لگتے تو مجھے چٹکی بھر دیتے اور میں اپنے پاؤں سمیٹ لیتی، جب وہ کھڑے ہوجاتے تو میں انہیں پھیلا لیتی تھی اور اس زمانے میں گھروں میں چراغ نہیں ہوتے تھے۔
Hazrat Ayesha Raziallahu Anha se marvi hai keh baz auqat mein Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke samne so rahi hoti thi aur mere paon Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke qibla ki simt mein hote thay, jab Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) sajday mein janay lagte to mujhe chutki bhar dete aur mein apne paon samet leti, jab woh kharay hojate to mein unhein phela leti thi aur us zamanay mein gharon mein chiragh nahi hote thay.
قَرَأْتُ عَلَى عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ مَهْدِيٍّ : مَالِكٌ ، عَنْ أَبِي النَّضْرِ مَوْلَى عُمَرَ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ زَوْجِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، أَنَّهَا قَالَتْ:" كُنْتُ أَنَامُ بَيْنَ يَدَيْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَرِجْلَيَّ فِي قِبْلَتِهِ، فَإِذَا سَجَدَ، غَمَزَنِي، فَقَبَضْتُ رِجْلَيَّ، وَإِذَا قَامَ بَسَطْتُهُا، وَالْبُيُوتُ لَيْسَ يَوْمَئِذٍ فِيهَا مَصَابِيحُ" .
