Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 25150
Abu Nufail reported that he asked Aisha, "Were poems recited in the presence of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him)?" She said, "The most disliked thing by the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was poetry."

ابو نوفل کہتے ہیں کہ میں نے حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے پوچھا کیا نبی ﷺ کے یہاں اشعار سنائے جاتے تھے؟ انہوں نے فرمایا کہ وہ نبی ﷺ کے نزدیک سب سے ناپسندیدہ بات تھی۔
Abu nofal kahte hain ke maine hazrat ayesha ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ا) se poocha kya nabi sali allahu alaihi wasallam ke yahan ashaar sunae jate the? unhon ne farmaya ke woh nabi sali allahu alaihi wasallam ke nazdeek sab se napasandida baat thi.
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ ، عَنِ الْأَسْوَدِ بْنِ شَيْبَانَ ، عَنْ أَبِي نَوْفَلٍ ، قَالَ: سَأَلْتُ عَائِشَةَ أَكَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُتَسَامَعُ عِنْدَهُ الشِّعْرُ؟ فَقَالَتْ: " كَانَ أَبْغَضَ الْحَدِيثِ إِلَيْهِ" .
