Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 25228
Narrated by Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her), that a man asked the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), "O Messenger of Allah! If the time for prayer begins, and I am required to perform Ghusl (ritual bath), and I also want to fast, what should I do?" The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) replied, "If such a situation arises for me, I would perform Ghusl and keep the fast." The man said, "We are not like you. Allah has forgiven all your past and future sins." The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) became upset, and signs of anger appeared on his blessed face, and he said, "By Allah, I hope that I am the most God-fearing and knowledgeable among you about Him."

حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے مروی ہے کہ ایک آدمی نے نبی ﷺ سے پوچھا یارسول اللہ! اگر نماز کا وقت آجائے، مجھ پر غسل واجب ہو اور میں روزہ بھی رکھنا چاہتا ہوں تو کیا کروں؟ نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا اگر میرے ساتھ ایسی کفیت پیش آجائے تو میں غسل کر کے روزہ رکھ لیتا ہوں، وہ کہنے لگا ہم آپ کی طرح نہیں ہیں، اللہ تعالیٰ نے آپ کے تو اگلے پچھلے سارے گناہ معاف فرما دیئے ہیں، تو نبی ﷺ ناراض ہوگئے اور غصے کے آثار چہرہ مبارک پر نظر آنے لگے اور فرمایا واللہ مجھے امید ہے کہ تم سب سے زیادہ اللہ سے ڈرنے والا اور اس کے متعلق جاننے والا میں ہی ہوں۔
Hazrat Ayesha ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ا) se marvi hai ki aik aadmi ne Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) se poocha Ya Rasul Allah agar namaz ka waqt aa jaye mujh per ghusl wajib ho aur main roza bhi rakhna chahta hun to kya karun Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya agar mere sath aisi kaifiyat pesh a jaye to main ghusl kar ke roza rakh leta hun woh kehne laga hum aap ki tarah nahin hain Allah Ta'ala ne aap ke to agle pichle sare gunah maaf farma diye hain to Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) naraz ho gaye aur ghusse ke asar chehra mubarak per nazar aane lage aur farmaya Wallahu mujhe umeed hai ki tum sab se zyada Allah se darne wala aur uske mutalliq jaanne wala main hi hun.
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو نُوحٍ ، أَخْبَرَنَا مَالِكُ بْنُ أَنَسٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ مَعْمَرٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي يُونُسَ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، قَالَتْ: سَأَلَ رَجُلٌ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهُوَ قَائِمٌ عَلَى الْبَابِ وَأَنَا أَسْمَعُ، قَالَ: أُصْبِحُ جُنُبًا وَأَنَا أُرِيدُ الصَّوْمَ؟ قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:" إِنِّي أُصْبِحُ جُنُبًا وَأَنَا أُرِيدُ الصَّوْمَ". قَالَ الرَّجُلُ: إِنِّي لَسْتُ كَمِثْلِكَ، أَنْتَ غَفَرَ اللَّهُ لَكَ مَا تَقَدَّمَ مِنْ ذَنْبِكَ وَمَا تَأَخَّرَ. فَغَضِبَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَقَالَ: " إِنِّي أَرْجُو أَنْ أَكُونَ أَخْشَاكُمْ لِلرَّبِّ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ، وَأَعْلَمَكُمْ بِمَا أَتَّقِي" .
