Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 25249
It is narrated on the authority of Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that once the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) came to her and said, "If I were not afraid that the Quraysh would be afflicted with pride and arrogance, I would tell them what their status and rank is with Allah."

حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ نبی ﷺ ان کے یہاں تشریف لائے تو فرمایا اگر قریش کے فخر و غرور میں مبتلا ہونے کا اندیشہ نہ ہوتا تو میں انہیں بتاتا کہ اللہ کے یہاں ان کا کیا مقام و مرتبہ ہے۔
Hazrat Ayesha Raziallahu Anha se marvi hai ke ek martaba Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) un ke yahan tashreef laye to farmaya agar Quresh ke fakhr-o-ghuroor mein mubtala hone ka andesha na hota to main unhen batata ke Allah ke yahan un ka kya maqam-o-martaba hai.
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو النَّضْرِ ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ دَخَلَ عَلَيْهَا، فَقَالَ: " لَوْلَا أَنْ تَبْطَرَ قُرَيْشٌ لَأَخْبَرْتُهَا بِمَا لَهَا عِنْدَ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ" .
