Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 25287
It is narrated on the authority of Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that before assuming Ihram, she applied the best and finest perfume to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), after which the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) would assume Ihram.

حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے مروی ہے کہ احرام سے پہلے میں نے نبی ﷺ کو سب سے بہترین اور عمدہ خوشبو لگائی ہے جس کے بعد نبی ﷺ احرام باندھ لیتے تھے۔

حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ ، عَنْ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ عُرْوَةَ يُحَدِّثُ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، قَالَتْ: كُنْتُ أُطَيِّبُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِأَطْيَبِ مَا أَقْدِرُ عَلَيْهِ قَبْلَ أَنْ يُحْرِمَ، ثُمَّ يُحْرِمُ" .
