Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 25428
It is narrated on the authority of Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that when the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) intended to return after Hajj, he saw Safiyya (may Allah be pleased with her) at the door of his tent, sad and distressed because her period had started. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "These women (referring to the disbelieving women) used to shave their heads and cut their hair short (during their periods). You will force us to stay here (because you are in the state of menstruation). Did you perform the Tawaf-e-Ziyarah (the Farewell Tawaf) on the 10th of Dhul Hijjah?" She replied, "Why not?" The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "Then there is no harm. Now, proceed (with us)."

حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے مروی ہے کہ جب نبی ﷺ نے حج کے بعد واپسی کا ارادہ کیا تو حضرت صفیہ رضی اللہ عنہ کو اپنے خیمے کے دوازے پر غمگین اور پریشان دیکھا کیونکہ ان کے ایام شروع ہوگئے تھے، نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا یہ عورتیں تو کاٹ دیتی ہیں اور مونڈ دیتی ہیں، تم ہمیں ٹھہرنے پر مجبور کردو گی، کیا تم نے دس ذی الحجہ کو طواف زیارت کیا تھا؟ انہوں نے عرض کیا کیوں نہیں، نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا بس پھر کوئی حرج نہیں، اب روانہ ہوجاؤ۔
Hazrat Ayesha Raziallahu Anha se marvi hai keh jab Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne Hajj ke baad wapsi ka irada kiya to Hazrat Safiyyah Raziallahu Anha ko apne khaime ke darwaze par ghamgeen aur pareshan dekha kyunki unke ayaam shuru hogaye the, Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya yeh auraten to kaat deti hain aur mund deti hain, tum humain theherne par majboor kardo gi, kya tumne dus Zul Hijjah ko tawaf ziyarat kiya tha? Unhon ne arz kiya kyun nahi, Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya bas phir koi harj nahi, ab rawana hojao.
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنِ الْحَكَمِ ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، عَنِ الْأَسْوَدِ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، أَنَّهَا قَالَتْ: لَمَّا أَرَادَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنْ يَنْفِرَ رَأَى صَفِيَّةَ عَلَى بَابِ خِبَائِهَا كَئِيبَةً أَوْ حَزِينَةً حَاضَتْ، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " أَعَقْرَى أَوْ حَلْقَى، إِنَّكِ لَحَابِسَتُنَا، أَكُنْتِ أَفَضْتِ يَوْمَ النَّحْرِ؟" قَالَتْ: نَعَمْ، قَالَ:" فَانْفِرِي إِذًا" .
