Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 25486
It is narrated on the authority of Aisha Radi Allahu Anha that the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to pray eleven rak'ahs after Isha prayer, including one Witr, and when he finished praying, he would lie down on his right side.

حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ عشاء کے بعد گیارہ رکعتیں اور ان میں سے ایک وتر پڑھتے تھے اور جب نماز سے فارغ ہوجاتے تو پھر دائیں پہلو پر لیٹ جاتے۔
Hazrat Ayesha razi Allah anha se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) isha ke baad gyarah rakatain aur in mein se ek witr parhte thay aur jab namaz se farigh hojate to phir dayen pehlu par lait jate.
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ" كَانَ يُصَلِّي مِنَ اللَّيْلِ إِحْدَى عَشْرَةَ رَكْعَةً يُوتِرُ مِنْهَا بِوَاحِدَةٍ، فَإِذَا فَرَغَ مِنْ صَلَاتِهِ، اضْطَجَعَ عَلَى شِقِّهِ الْأَيْمَنِ" .
