Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 25489
It is narrated on the authority of Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that sometimes the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) would offer prayer at night while I would be lying down in front of him. And when he wanted to offer Witr, he would lightly pinch my feet and tell me to move back.

حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے مروی ہے کہ بعض اوقات نبی ﷺ رات کو نماز پڑھتے تو میں ان کے سامنے لیٹی ہوتی تھی اور جب وہ وتر پڑھنا چاہتے تو میرے پاؤں پر چٹکی بھر دیتے اور مجھے پیچھے ہٹنے کے لئے فرما دیتے تھے۔

حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، قَالَتْ: كُنْتُ أَنَامُ مُعْتَرِضَةً بَيْنَ يَدَيْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهُوَ يُصَلِّي، فَإِذَا أَرَادَ أَنْ يُوتِرَ، غَمَزَنِي بِرِجْلِهِ، فَقَالَ:" تَنَحَّيْ" .
